Server rules

These apply on every TLR server, and admins do enforce them. The WARDOGS rules go up here when that server does.

01

Communication

  1. 1.1

Communicate using English in command. Language-based squads are fine if they're named as such (for example "GER mic").

  2. 1.2

Squad leaders and commanders need to have a microphone and communicate with other players.

  3. 1.3

Do not give away any useful information in all chat, such as ticket counts or FOB locations.

  4. 1.4

Do not mic spam or play music down the mic.

02

Squad leading

  1. 2.1

Squad leaders should be using an SL kit at all times.

  2. 2.2

Squad leaders can kick for any reason they see fit, as long as it doesn't break the conduct rules.

  3. 2.3

Don't create a squad if you do not intend to lead it.

  4. 2.4

Do not lead infantry as a vehicle squad, and do not lead a vehicle as an infantry squad.

    • You can play as infantry while waiting for the tank to respawn.
03

Gameplay

  1. 3.1

All squads should be playing the objectives or contributing to the team meaningfully.

  2. 3.2

All vehicles which require crewman kits must be two manned.

    • Exceptions: BTR-80, Bulldog RWS, any ZU-23 and the MTLB (PKT, NSV and 6MA).
  3. 3.3

You can lock your squad as long as you have two other squad mates (1+2).

    • Vehicle, emplacement, logistics and admin squads are exempt from this rule.
  4. 3.4

The first squad to claim a vehicle (via squad name) has ownership of that vehicle for the match unless they say otherwise (ask through the command channel).

    • Avoid ambiguous names. A squad named "Tank" will have priority for the tank over a squad named "Armour".
  5. 3.5

Camping main is permitted as long as one viable exit from the enemy main is left unhindered.

  6. 3.6

Do not take a full nine-man squad for mortars, superfobs, TOWs or helicopters.

  7. 3.7

Wasting assets (usually vehicles) is against the server rules. Depending on severity, it comes down to admin discretion.

04

Conduct

  1. 4.1

TLR members are required to wear TLR tags on our own servers.

  2. 4.2

Don't advertise other clans or gambling sites with name, voice or text. Twitch URLs are exempt from this rule.

  3. 4.3

Homophobia, sexism, racism, all forms of discrimination and anything deemed harassment or toxicity will get you removed from the server.

  4. 4.4

Do not exploit, troll or glitch on the server. Heli ramming is not considered trolling or an exploit and is allowed.

  5. 4.5

Never intentionally teamkill, including for revenge. If you accidentally teamkill, say so immediately and apologise in all chat.

Enforcement is at admin discretion. If you disagree with a decision, appeal in the admin help channel on Discord.
